@Elhigh: Interesting idea, but I'm thinking the heat cycles would tear it apart.

@jodark: Most carbon fiber vehicles are made with 2D sheets of carbon fiber, formed into 3D shapes. The interesting thing about this video is the loom which is making a dual weave tube with no seams.

@Tetsuooooooo: Did you ever use it? It was blazingly fast for the time.

The funny thing about all of these NP or CP posts, is that all it takes is one person with the money to think "nice price." A good seller will probably have a 5% nice price ratio. If everyone thinks your car is a NP, it's just listed too cheaply and the seller is losing out.

@Ricorich196: I had their ram... and it was awesome. Too bad they went under.

Why are people so mad about this? I thought it was funny and nice, but sadly I don't know the people in the photos.

I'm guessing it has something to do with batteries.

@hoocli: Eh. I guess I was more referring to how on older cars, a key was used as security but could be hacked with those cheap methods. These new methods can still be hacked, but are more expensive and require more knowledge (until someone starts selling kits, but as the ATM hacking has shown, those kits end up

Still costs more than a lock pick set though. Or a hammer and hot wiring.

@duurtlang: Well now a hacker could just make a replica of your key via the photo...

@OOglebooze: She's not 12, that's just the way hipster girls look.

USA, USA!

@AdamHLG: Tell that to the people 100 years from now when they are saying the same exact thing... you know, on their crazy future communications devices that we can't even begin to imagine.

Ok. Lots of people have old, dead-grenades. They use them as bookends, or paperweights, or whatever. They have holes in the bottom so you can tell they are dead.

@AreWeThereYeti: I'm pretty sure my laptop at work is 1920 by 1200.

Won't it go dead after 2 hours anyway?

@KillerRaccoon: Even with snow tires, it's 2 less tires in contact with the road. Can you drive in snow with 2wd and snow tires? Sure. Is AWD better? Just go look at the drive trains in a rally and you'll have your answer there.

I don't understand this article. Have you tried it? Do you know if it holds temperature well? Does it have a nice grinder? There is no info here...

As a mechanical engineer, I LOVE that keyboard design. I want that on laptops now so that I could get a numpad in with the keyboard...
