I think in this case it’s a distinction without meaning. The response from these young ladies was correct in either case.

Uhhh.... a good pizza?
There’s a big assumption here: Your employer is totally fine with you accessing their stuff on unapproved devices, etc. and using unapproved software. That’s not the standard everywhere.
Not necessarily. The Archdioceses of Detroit cancelled all in-person services, including Easter. If you show up at your local parish, the doors are gonna be shut, and you’ll be kindly, but pointedly sent the fuck home.
Yeah, our VPN support for VOIP conference calls was garbage to start with. Having everyone globally (and I work for a Fortune-50 size company) using the VPN all at once was . . . a rude awakening.
So how does good/bad work? I don’t know how you remove expectations from the discussion.
No, no FILTHpig has a point. Those weren’t good, but this was supposed to be the fukken apex to tie the whole thing together. The expectations were so much higher, and the result was so much lower.
Technically Google Authenticator can work on multiple devices; it just doesn’t sync across devices; you have to configure it individually for each device.
He knows there are some things he can’t do alone. And, super-strong/super-agile/super-smart doesn’t necessarily mean psychic. When he goes back in time, he has a greater knowledge of the future than anyone else, but it isn’t a perfect knowledge of the future he came from, which is mutable.
He didn’t though... He went back in time and spent 50 years behind the scenes fixing all the stuff that didn’t get to the Avengers-level...
Thought that said “aluminum” on first glance...
You ignored the other, equally important part of the equation. You don’t need to over-deliver if you under-promise in the first place. I learned that from Scotty and Geordi in Star Trek. Never tell the captain how long it will actually take to fix the problem; you’ll lose your status as a miracle worker.
That’s a disservice to bathtubs.
Jeezus I forgot how cheesy that movie was...
Ehh... I’d rather see the Kelvin-Trek in the garbage bin of history than anywhere. It wasn’t good Star Trek; there weren’t even well-put-together stories. The only thing JJ Abrams did well was putting the supporting cast together.
Maybe you should...
Pssst... I think you forgot to take your pills this morning...
I get the strong feeling 13frain is angry at all the persons, everywhere...
Still, you’re being factually correct, but missing my point entirely... Regardless of the other roles he had over the prior 10 years, he wasn’t a bankable action hero or low risk/high-reward guy.
What you’re saying is factually correct, but go read some of the interviews from John Favreau and Kevin Feige. NOBODY wanted RDJ for Tony Stark other than Favreau, and considered him a huge risk, regardless of the potential reward.
