Chief of Staff Eli seems like a good way to give him a lot of purpose though! That's something the show has struggled with in the past.

I'm glad this show is finally gonna have a *DRAMATICALLY SWEEPS EVERYTHING OFF THE DESK* moment but I'm bummed that it doesn't look like it has a lot of sexytime potential.
Maybe they made him a regular just so that they can have 1 scene of him getting mad at it every episode.
