We are a century behind the developed world on Single Payer Healthcare. Not supporting healthcare for all is a non-starter and now Brown has disqualified himself as a 21st Century leader by allying himself with the wasteful cruelty of for profit health insurance.

I thought Best Documentary was supposed to be a real fight this year with “RBG,” “Won’t You Be My Neighbor,” and “Science Fair,” among others.  But only “RBG” was nominated.  Huh.

Methinks that the designers her stylists reached out to might just not want to make her something custom? And she may just be “too big” for the off the rack sample sizes that they have available?

So......Making a custom dress for her would be ridiculously expensive and time consuming. Most dresses loaned out to actresses are from the runway and altered to fit them. These couture/fashion houses can’t just whip up a couture dress in no time. They can take hundreds of hours.

I’ve worked in theater & film & for fashion shows. The women are tiny, size 0 tiny. They look normal sized on screen because of the point of view of the camera. But they have very big heads and thin thin thin bodies. Even the men are thinner and shorter than you’d think.

Is it possible they don’t think she’s famous enough to make a custom dress and want to lend her only a sample size that’s ready to go? 😬
