This deserves many upvotes.

The aspects of the usual reasoning that I don't get are two: (1) How do we grade new pilots, given that grading is relative to the baseline quality of a given show; and (2) if the absolute worst episode in a completed series gets something non-F like a C-minus, doesn't that… contradict the whole approach? Isn't that

^ Reminds me of Hearst's weird name for gold on "Deadwood."

Like cligoris, either pronunciation is correct.

Non-snarky nice spelling-out of the sound effect.

Is it because of Easter or something? I've been seeing a lot of Christian stuff on CNN. It's a little weird; I thought they had to pretend to be neutral, at least.

Thank you!

This is perhaps a monumentally stupid thing to ask, but this seems a good place to ask it: Is there such a thing as a subgenre for "snowy" (rather than desert-y) Westerns? Any recommendations?

At 56 seconds: Is that "McCabe & Mrs. Miller"? (I haven't seen it; I ask because the clip looks damned good.)
