@ColbertForPrez: Well I'm really happy for you. Regardless, I don't have 3G anywhere near where I live. So VZ will be my new provider.

@ShabazOSU: Well I got that directly from Verizon. Also, are you sure they had 3G and not Edge? Because I live in a white part and I do not get 3G, but I do get Edge.

@Totenglocke42: That is their data map, aka their Edge network. If you look at their 3G map (the one I posted) then you will see that they only offer 3G in select cities. Yeah they have Edge coverage all over, but Edge is not 3G.

I got 6 movies free from blockbuster. If you start a new account with a random email and use the 2 codes, you can just keep making new accounts and getting free rentals. I might go for 8!

This right here is why I'm going VZ. At&t doesn't give a shit about you if you aren't in a big city.

@WampaCow: Verizon has 3G over almost their whole network. At&t covers metro areas of 1 million or larger it seems. Which is not where I live anywhere near. VZ is a no brainer for me.

@FriedPeeps will kill for a CR-48: Its because voice was around way before data ever was. Voice and data can't be handled simultaneously over VZ because CDMA can't handle it. If I'm not mistaken, At&t does voice and data using 2 separate waves. The only reason you can do voice and data is because it's using two

@vinod1978: You and the rest of 65% or their iPhone customer base.

I will be leaving At&t as soon as possible.

@GettingOld: I'm pretty sure you can still text. Just not do web stuff.

@therizza: Exactly. I don't get 3G where I live from At&t, but VZ covers basically the whole country (besides big cities) with 3G speeds.

@@Legohan@: That doesn't make sense...

@dagamer34: Or if you signed your contract before At&t raised the ETF and you don't have to pay the $325. I've had my iPhone for a year and a half. I won't have to pay $325 to leave.

I expect it to be leaps and bounds better. At&t's 3G isn't available anywhere within 100 miles of me. Verizon's 3G covers the whole country. Not just big cities. Therefore, this will be the first time I've ever had 3G consistently.

@Sagan: That makes sense. I was actually thinking more of the hotspot app. I don't see the point of the VZ navigator though. Unless it can do flash I suppose...

@OGHowie: If? There is no way you'll be able to. I'm sure it will be the same as the Apple Apps.

@FlyingAvocado: GameCenter. It's on the current iPhone too.

@iii moozez iii: But is is a new service. Called "service." With At&t, you don't get this thing called "service."
