It's about $400 on Amazon, but yes, I do agree with your point of it being more expensive. However, I do agree with stre as well. IMO I think it is worth saving to get the IS, especially if you are fully zoomed in.

Or "self".

I would look for the one that is 70-300mm with IS (Image Stabilization). It performs significantly better and from my amateur perspective doesn't create as "soft" as pictures as this lens.

Tessa, this intrigues me.... go on......

Fully agree. When I was dating (married now, woot) I always hated the line "My friends come first and are #1!". It was like saying "Hey, you are already 2nd and less important" as well as "I have a clear a distinction between friends and who I am dating." Heck, even if you feel that way, don't say it, ya know?

So let me get this straight. There exists the chance you are too busy in real life to date (or it is your preference, etc. I get there are other reasons), so you are trying online dating. But then you realize you are too busy to even partake in online dating. How will you even maintain a relationship? If you are that

So many new (to me) and exciting Menubar items... What are all of those (besides Dropbox, I get that one...)

haha, really? That's awesome

So the guy who was a PC in every commercial only uses Apple products. iApprove

Not sure how that would work since it only comes out one way, unless I am missing something??

Is there a way to check if your laptop has this? Is it wrong to presume all newer laptops have it? I have a 2013 Air.

I heard these have issues with not "holding" the cards after awhile. Anyone know if this is true?

I can agree with that too. The other argument I hate these days are the "Apple Ecosystem." I guess I've never seen it. My iPhone has worked fine between Windows or Mac. My Mac works fine with anything plugged in to it. I think it used to be a much stronger argument, but now there are so many "Stores" (Apple, Amazon,

Not starting a war or anything, but what makes it seem overpriced? The only thing I can really think of is expandable storage. Otherwise it seems like $200 gets me the same thing across the board. However, a $200 android with 16GB and a 64GB microSD card from Amazon would be significantly cheaper.

It's actually the opposite. I can get the Android to feel and look better than an iPhone but that isn't my comparison stopping point. I always felt like I could find a better keyboard, better unlock app, better icons... I would never stop customizing it and it ate my time up.

Not like my opinion matters, but I'll share it anyway. For me, I love both platforms. I had to take myself away from Android because I would non-stop customize it.... always seeking to make it "mores betterers!" but yet never achieving that nirvana. I went back to iPhone to save myself from that. Now I just the phone.

I've started asking. In my informal pool of probably 500+ restaurants (I'm a consultant, I eat out on the road quite often) I have heard of exactly 0 restaurants participate in a pooling method. I do know that most servers appreciate cash tips regardless as it helps with how much they have to report. Not saying it is

Is anyone else experiencing an issue with the iPhone 5 connecting and disconnecting repeatedly? I am on a ton of beta software but it still seems like it should charge (Mavericks, iTunes Beta, iOS 7 beta). If I can't connect, I can't update to the GM.

Not on the list but I know for a fact I am using Google Reader to its full potential right now...

It does, but all it does is say "Apps Using Significant Power" (I'm on Mavericks now). And even then, it doesn't pick up everything (like certain processes; closing Outlook suddenly adds like 4 hours of battery life sometimes but yet doesn't appear in the list). Although it is still beta, I doubt it will fix things
