Maybe it's just me, but I'm still confused why they don't allow customization of the Rosie app launcher.

What happened to just getting to know someone while being yourself (and happy by yourself)? That's how my wife and I met and are happily married :)

I would think "Do you still have an AOL email address?" should be on the list too.

@spar7y Has anyone else noticed the "reply" button isn't including the "@*name*" in it?

Haha - exactly!

Slightly off topic, but when I first got my Android it pulled in all of my social media contact pictures... very interesting in a work meeting and your phone rings and there is a picture of a girl in a bikini that shows up as who is calling...

Definitely agree with the "saving a system" aspect. On a work computer I once changed the permissions to access the computer in my naivety and I couldn't get the computer to boot. The LiveCD let me access my files so I could at least keep working! Great post!

Maybe I'm missing something but why are companies still competing in browser wars? Is there really any strategic advantage or cost component? Sure you can help set the default search to something which may lead to ads for Microsoft and Google, but is it a space to really "compete" in?

I bought mine from a Nigerian prince so you know it is solid!!

**insert inappropriate joke here about floppy versus hard drive with attractive women**

What ever happened to the rumored G-Drive? Is that all but gone now? Has anything come of it since the release of the ChromeOS? #question

I pick my battles like I pick my nose... deliberately, with purpose, and I always achieve my objective.

I would love to get a wireless webcam hooked on to my dog's collar then set this as my background. Each time I would turn on my phone would be like a Choose Your Adventure book!

And if your SSD is making weird sounds then good luck to you, mate!

@Ihaveasmartpuppy: You got it! Works fantastic and is also easily removable if need be (and if I get bored of it). I'm not a fan of too permanent of solutions sometimes :)

@drongch: Definitely appreciate it. Like I said, I have followed and "taken" from Lifehacker for so many years I really want to contribute back to it (and contribute well!)

@Ihaveasmartpuppy: The shortest answer is "not professionally" but I'll try to explain.

Netbook mounted under the kitchen cabinet to handle recipes and an online grocery list synced with Dropbox in case the wife or I end up at the grocery store.

It's about time we saw some more Ted featured articles on Lifehacker! Thank you Christopher!!
