@gonzo5680: I saw some guy with OCD I think on TV not long ago who assigned his socks pairs, so that, even though his socks were all the same style, he would only wear socks with their designated partners.

@nickvolpe: I never even knew that that was a thing until my boyfriend moved in.

I read some advice once to put off organizing a new space, and just see where things end up.

@LLisCool: Being uncomfortable in your own skin to the point that you don't want to leave your house might be 'normal' for many women, but it shouldn't be. I could MAYBE see that if someone were severely obese to the point that it was difficult to move, and/or it attracted too much attention when they went out.

@yigelaowai: Me too. And it's endlessly irritating to have extroverts trying to 'cure' me, too. I know people who are SO extroverted that they seem almost incapable of figuring anything out on their own, and can't seem to function fully unless they're chattering mindlessly with (or AT) at least one other person.

Ha ha. Know how I can tell a dude wrote that, apart from the fact that I already know a dude wrote that?

@JaneGalaxy: Exactly. Mine also picks up on it when I do so much as think about taking her for a walk. I don't have to say a word or put my shoes on, grab the poop bags or the leash or anything. She knows before any of that.

@holyspidoo: I have a pair of prescription sunglasses I got from Zenni Optical years ago for a total cost of $13—a pair of $8 frames and prescription lenses, with the $5 upgrade for tint. I also have a pair of photochromic glasses, which is a $27 upgrade. And all of their lenses—tinted or not—have full UV protection.

@franco1975 [Troll ]: Maybe 1) you want something in a specific size or configuration, 2) you have the stuff to make it, so it's cheaper, quicker, and easier to make something than to go buy a case, 3) you'd rather reuse something you already have, or 4) you just plain like making stuff.

@infinitemonkeys: My reaction seems strange to you because you aren't paying attention to either the article or to what I said.

@operator207: Are you aware that it is also rude and invasive to speculate on and question people about personal information? No, I am not being stalked and I am not having a bad day, and it is rude and inappropriate to make armchair speculations about other people's personal lives like that.

@Cj Griesmeyer: I never said anything about hacking. Don't make things up.

@Kevin Purdy: Thanks, Kevin. I'll agree that all bets are off if someone's harassing or spamming you. They started it.

Wait, so it's some sort of horrible social faux pas to respond to an email and ask someone who they are, but it's A-OK to conduct an invasive search of that person's online presence?

Just following up to say that I didn't double post or anything, in case anyone thought that.

@The HZA.: I remember that! I think the name was Jill, though.

@Caenct: I have a grown son with back hair, and he was considering doing something about it a while back.
