I do agree on the snake oil, marketing misleading and the complicity of reviewers with the industry. Most of it is BS like in no other business I’ve seen.

Sure. In fact my turntable has a Noisefloor of -70db which is very good already. Best ones out there costing 10k and up can do -80db or more.
We usually shipped everything well in advance (and pay for the extra deposit period) to avoid exactly this kinda thing. If it get lost we had time to track it down or ship new ones. It might not be doable for all companies (depending on how big ur booth is and how large/expensive the products are) but for most it’s…
Shhhhh it’s called “disrupting” the post-it market😂
Yeah I feel the same way. People don’t realize but there are STILL way way too many social, political, administrative and not least technical challenges to overcome b4 autonomus vehicles become trully world-wide adopted and not just LA and Sillicon Valley.
I know right? All of the sudden it striked me: OMG we’re living in the fucking future!!😳
Well, i’ll give him that: the world would be so boring without James Woods.
Maaan that takes me back to my LAN parties of the mid 2000s when the Xbox 360 came out! I remember a videogame store would pull off an all nighter with 8 Xbox 360 playin Ghost Recon! One my best memories in gaming...together with the original Mario Bros.
Wait a minute. I just realized they stole the whole “AI machine winks back at you” idea from the movie “I, Robot” feat. Will Smith.
Question is: would you prefer the exotic asian tailpipe or go for a hot german one?😂
Sure thing commy boy. We should all be listening to 150$ turntables, drink piss-coffee, drive beat-up cars because you don’t work hard enough to get out of your mom’s basement and away from cheap earbuds😂 Makes sense.
No. we’re not better than anyone. What I have a problem with is people trying to impose their view on others, calling audiophiles all sorts of names because they can’t afford it and actually NEVER experienced the sound quality from a 4000$ turntable. How can you pass judgements if you never even listen to a system…
The proof is in the pudding.
Yeah I wanted to goninto that...the whole noise/signal explanation but then again from experience I know that the ONLY thing that works with the “300$ is already enough for a turntable” people is playing the albums they like on MY system. Then they usually go silent, numb.
Hey if you’re happy that way..kudos to you!
As an audiophile...the overprice comes (just as in ANY hobby) diminishing returns in performnce vs costs.
Indeed in THIS picture it looks like 2.5mm
I wanted to let it slide but couldn’t.
I’ve worked with Kerastase products for a few years (country wide distribution) and had lots of feedback from customers and professionals alike.
😂😂problably the best reply I’ve seen on Giz
