My current pet peeve with business talk is changing nouns to verbs and vice versa. “Ask” has become a noun. “What’s the ask here?”

I mostly agree with you. But there is the point that eating meat is for food, while racing horses is for profit.

I quit watching horse races about 10 years ago. I see no reason that it needs to be an industry.
