Oh god... the last thing that needs to be near children is a virtual Michael Jackson... At least not a post-1990 Michael Jackson...

@Archaotic: They've overhauled the dashboard once. There was blades and now there's NXE. Now this dashboard extra will be available when and only when (I believe) you are using Kinect, in order to make the experience easier because the current NXE dashboard would be kind of tricky with Kinect.

@Walking Eye!: Battle of the Heroes (from the duel between Obi-Wan and Anakin on Mustafar) was totally awesome as well IMO. Bioware probably also thought it was awesome, as it was featured in the new trailer for the Old Republic.

I saw an unboxing video on Joystiq and it weirdly looked like there were two controllers in the box. Is that true? Can anyone confirm or deny this for me?

It amazes me that a game studio can one-up three movies made by the creator of a franchise himself and costing hundreds of millions of dollars with a 5-minute CGI trailer. Well done Bioware, well done.

@slumz: I could really use an indigo purple one. Plus sometimes I like carrying it with me so I like having a handle. And the form factors of these new consoles are so... rectangular. I wish they had it in more a lunchbox shape. Oh well. Maybe next gen.

It goes well with the look of the Kinect, although I'm not too sure about how much I like the design. It looks somewhat aggressive rather than sleek, but if it's quieter and has built in WiFi then it's a win in my book. My one concern is how people will transfer their old saved games and DLC from a "fat" 360 to a new

If the disc tray is quieter I'm in.

So... basically it's Black 2?

Couple 3D TV and Natal for true Minority Report-esque menus. Not really, but it's as close as we'll get for everyman in 2010.

In other news, real games are still being made that use a controller. Next.

Okay Natal actually was renamed to Kinect so this looks legit. New Xbox here we come!

Just like Revolution to Wii, the name officially got worse. Oh well, as long as the product is halfway decent who cares what it's called...

The Wii seemed pretty fucking weird when they first changed the name of the Revolution to it, but it stuck after time. I guess the same will happen with Natal and Kinect, although I didn't really mind Natal and Kinect sounds freakin awful.
