Right, we should have not even shot a rocket off until we could land on the moon.

In the video, it appears the driver ahead of the Tesla brakes and gets out of the way before Autopilot realizes what’s up and slows down.

Show me a 2006 Mercedes that follow the road by itself, takes exits according to naviation, and can overtake other vehicles with only an indicator switch flip from the driver.

I plan on fucking it until it dies and there’s a viable replacement.

As if I’d want random detritus off the streets wandering around in my pricey high powered electric vehicle for barely more than maintenance cost.

Most liberals who advocated for strict gun control don’t want guns outlawed. We want them controlled. Background checks, ammunition stipulations, waiting periods, and databases. It’s not hard. There’s plenty of countries that have a gun culture and also have a gun control culture.

Exactly.

Perez Hilton was D-list famous looooong before YouTube buddy.

I agree with VW and I agree with the Judge here. The offer is made for the vehicle, not the chassis and engine only.

Many of those parts can be removed and resold, refurbished for repair jobs, etc. That’s assuming there’s NOT ANY fix down the line for SOME of these vehicles (which, who knows?) That calculation was made as part of the offer.

Still better than cabs.

I’ll be glad once Tesla’s autonomous fleet is available when I travel (mostly to the west coast, so I’m in good shape) and I don’t have to worry about a driver AT ALL.

Zarya needs to be gay to give Putin a giant middle finger.

My guess is indeed this. The plans and the dish weren’t in the same building.

Did the Prowler work though? Did it really?

Many who are unable to purchase a driverless car will still rely on used vehicles. And with estimates of how many equipped with full-autonomy will be on the road in the next 30 years being just that—estimates—it’s hard to grasp how soon they’ll trickle down into the secondary market.

Precisely. We’re still not even at a point where we have backup camera as standard, or live TPMS, and those are common-sense, very cheap safety features. Even now, the backup cameras rolling out to keep with the laws are shitty, awful, and probably will end up causing more accidents than they reduce because they’ll

Indeed. I would argue that the “that a vehicle so described can be driven under its own 2.0-liter TDI engine power” in the court documents implies that it can be driven to the dealership, not simply that it can be driven. If it can’t be driven legally on the roads, then it does not meet this criteria.

If there’s a Democratic Senator who doesn’t fight tooth and nail to stop some of these appointments, they do not deserve to be reelected. Simple as that.
