Hello QA person! As a software developer and manager of a great team of four other devs, let me say we greatly appreciate you even if we don’t act like it sometimes.

Maybe people should actually drive their cars. This is the problem with beta testing and not vetting the technical expertise of the testers. Tesla please talk to some old school software developers from the DOS and Win 3.1 days they will tell you why everyone can’t be a beta tester.

His clone probably wrecked him.

Gif usage level: Expert.

Many years ago, an Aussie rally driver missed a turn, ditched and flipped up onto a quite tall ledge 5-6 feet above the roadway. He hit one person (not life threatening somehow). The person he smashed... was his sister.

he should have probably been standing.. but that sure looks like the inside of the corner to me..... not where cars normally end up (tho with a jump involved all bets are off i guess)

Is it weird that I don’t like this car?

i hate the BMW one too

I am so glad you mentioned this. I bought Lean In after experiencing a very harsh wake up to ingrained, surprisingly obvious sexism when I started work in Engineering out of college. I found it to be useful in places but I was surprised at her judgemental, victim blaming tone. It now sits with the rest of the insipid

YES. I work in tech, too, and when I first started my career, my self-righteous (although ultimately well-meaning) uncle gave me a signed copy of “Lean In” to inspire me. When moving earlier this year, my boyfriend and I found the copy and debated whether or not we could sell it for money, before ultimately throwing

I’ll bet the response to this from the tech industry will be nuanced, reflective, and ultimately supportive.

YES, the image that keeps coming to mind is the lake effect snow that the great lakes area tends to see. Michigan has its 100+ car pileups... Imagine the operator popping from one crashed car to the next about to crash etc... That would be a bad day in the office...

I doubt that will work any better than getting the driver involved as whoever takes over comes in with no situational awareness. You can’t make the right choices if you don’t know what’s happening around you. And coming in under an emergency scenario leaves you too little time to get the facts you would need. The guys

He just made America great again.

No one is saying they deserved to die. Everyone is saying that the actions of the girls directly caused their deaths. Not because of the inactions of the police.

Every second you watch your little “marble race” could be spent reading the works of Dostoevsky and even the great Shakespeare. I won’t be joining you on this fool’s errand. Good day.

Like...a safety net?

Jalopnik’s Stig = Andy Lally!

What do you think, should we invite him back?
