I remember when game companies made money by making great games people wanted to buy and play.  Now, they make money by exploiting people through rigged game systems and microtransactions.

I have ordered a few things from ECS over the last year. More than half the time, the packages took forever to get to me. Other times when I paid for a specific shipping option, ECS would still ship by the slowest cheapest carrier and (I assume) pocket the difference in shipping cost.

There should be ONE version of the game that everyone buys and you get everything. You know like games used to be back in the day.

If companies start charging $70 to $80 for games, they will still chop up games to monetize.

I read Dr. Nerdlove’s articles from time to time. They remind me why the last time I was in a relationship was 10 years ago and I don’t plan to get into another one for probably another 10 or more years.
