Couple of thoughts

I have no problem with young, idiot street racers killing themselves. Unfortunately, they end up killing innocent people just trying to go about their business.

I know it might be difficult but unless you are in danger of being fired, work your 8 hours and leave. If your boss has a problem with it, that is their problem not yours.

You are really over-complicating it. When you have worked your 8 hours, drop whatever it is you are doing and go home.

Keep your work area clean and uncluttered. Keep your tools organized and put them back in place to the best of your ability while you work on your car. It makes finding the tools you need go faster and you will work faster.
