Fair enough.
Fair enough.
Should be easy to cite examples then, right?
In all honesty, where are you getting sexism? In his comedy or in real things he has said in interviews?
I think Maher finds SOME Christians equally condescending and feels like he's fighting fire with fire.
What if their values include stoning a woman to death for infidelity?
I don't know if I agree with this. I think Maher appreciates other factors, such as poverty for example, when discussing radicalization.
Maher has praised Ali on Real Time many times before and encouraged his viewers to gain her perspective. I honestly believe that out of ALL the religions he has disdain for, Maher thinks Islam is one of, if not the, worst of them all. He always says, "liberals should be tolerant but not of intolerance."
Well OK then. Thanks for answering.
This is a serious question:
Counterpoint: he also destroyed Christine O'Donnell.
She was on Bill Maher's show recently, and her stock didn't go up after that either.
Actually, I'd say Bill walked all over Colbert in their first Late Show appearance together. And I'm a big fan of both.
This is gonna sound pretty shallow so forgive me, but am I the only one that thinks Mindy Kaling was prettier before the plastic surgery?
Well, regardless, it's not really what I was addressing in the original post.
It could just be that Matt Damon got the opportunity to work with a talented, visionary director like Zhang Yimou and jumped at the chance.
Is this the same person who got the whole Matt Damon/THE GREAT WALL white-washing accusation so completely wrong?
Definitely surprised by lack of SILENCE. I would have bet good money on a best pic nomination.
I was definitely looking forward to Chandor's take on DEEPWATER HORIZON.
What's always been so interesting to me is the impression that some criminal mastermind got away with this heinous act when, in reality, the case was just so fucked up from the very beginning by the Boulder PD.
Or more likely they didn't say them at all or were completely misinterpreted.
