Before the release of Sounds Of The Universe in 2009 i made an “official” top 150 of their songs, then that album was such a disappointment that I kind of lost that level of caring about them. I‘m mostly back in the saddle now though. This was a fun list with some unexpected (some might say “insane”) choices, but at

I guess I’ll bite... They’ve sold over 100 million records. They are one of a handful of artists who still fill arenas worldwide when they tour. They’ve had a massive influence on the sound of pop music during the last 10-15 years, not to mention how they were a key influence for techno pioneers like Derrick May and

...and how the hell do they make any money? You have to sell a lot of records/tickets/merch/streams to have a significant chunk left when it’s been split NINE ways.

I imagine hunting is still pretty difficult if you have absolutely no knowledge of how to do it? Especially when it's a life or death situation and you don't have the time or resources to try and study various techniques.

You could argue that she’s not really “trying” and just having fun with goofy material, but I think she’s usually varying degrees of terrible when she does genre stuff. Thor, Crystal Skull, LotR...

I didn’t see it, but I remember reading about how that whole production was a clusterfuck with the director going AWOL during filming etc.

Unknown cast, quick schedule, shot in Bulgaria... Smells like some kind of legal exercise in order to keep a hold of the IP.

Apparenrly he's writing it.

Get off your high horse!

And clothes, boots, socks... Getting that stuff soaking wet out in the wilderness is bad news, even if there are methods for drying at least some stuff while on the move.

While we’re at it, it’s also a really bad idea to wade through water (or swimming!) with all your clothing and equipment when you’re out on a long hike.

I thought it was meant to show that she has a deeply fucked up side to her, she reminded me of a weird kid pulling the legs of a fly in that scene.

There is a key narrative turn in the game that sets it apart from the stories it takes inspiration from, but I’m not sure it can be executed as well in a different medium like this. Seeing how they handle it is maybe the thing I'm most excited for about the whole series.

Widely considered to be one of the best films in the series though.

I’m not defending AMC (or whatever owner’s conglomerate that makes their decisions), but from the perspective of the people working on this show, isn’t it preferable to make a second season that never airs rather than getting ourright canceled after just one? I assume they’re getting at least party paid for their work

More than anything, I think this is all a result of Moore believing that DC/WB screwed him over by not letting the rights to Watchmen revert back to him by keeping the book in print in perpetuity. Which, you know, fair enough. But a lot of these criticisms feel a bit adolescent and insincere, particularly from someone

Turns out Pinocchio is the one who made Gepetto, and implanted false memories into his consciousness Blade Runner-style.

And I don’t want to do that in a little, obscure arthouse corner, but to do it where you actually have an impact on the culture. So I’m always going to work with these types of topics—the female gaze and gender roles.”

I refuse to believe this is actually good.

It doesn’t hurt that Cena’s gone out of his way in recent years to cultivate an international appeal, most recently with his service in the Fast And Furious trenches.
