I forgot about the existence of the Radian. The VMax’s baby brother.

Is that the one that kinda looks like a Moto Guzzi? V-twin, longitudinally. Those are sick.
Amen. The one in the picture isn’t mine, but had one similar. A 1986(?) Kawi 454. It was the spare bike and that little monster took so many different people thousands of miles without even a hiccup.
Well it makes sense really... Why drop a large chunk of money on something newer that will depreciate when you’re just going to grow out of it over the first year or so?
Yup, had an 83 Nighthawk 650 in the fleet a little while ago, really sweet bikes (though that one was a bit moody). My first was a Yamaha XS650
Handily, just having a conversation about this yesterday...
From experience, any 1980s Japanese bike in the 450-750 class. Cheap to buy, reliable and easy to repair, no real worry about scratching it or dropping it, etc. And next season put it up for sale for exactly what you paid for it and get the bike you want.
Dirt 3 is coming to Goodwood!
Torch,
Yessiree. My 40’s automobile knowledge is terrible at best, but I’d bet not many if any others had done that before.
Right? Imagine taking your car in for a major service, like days worth of work, and leaving in that same car a half hour later.
Yeah, a few of my examples started popping up only 20 or 30 years after his concept, but if the Tucker had actually been a success, I think you’d be hard pressed to find a car on the road without steerable headlights.
Pretty much his idea was that the car comes in for service and the dealer swaps in a loaner engine. Kinda clever, since most people don’t want to go days without a car.
Never driven anything with them, but I assume its helpful haha.
I mean the car has its engine and transmission held in by 6 bolts. If you ever had trouble with any of the powertrain, simply go to the dealer, and be back on the road in 45 minutes.
The Tucker 48.
Obviously they’d all rock Truck Boat Trucks
Torch, this has already been decided by Early Cuyler.
The want is strong with this one.
