That's part of why I'm so assiduous about using italics on titles. Helps keep some things a little clearer.

The size…of a tangerine.

Huh, I actually thought it looked like it would be pretty cool from the trailers, but apparently nobody else does. Is this just because I haven't read the books, or because of my usual automatic positive disposition to any movie not made by Christopher Nolan? (Or both?)

Pff, what, is he going to make a movie about an alive wife? That's just crazy.

The ol' Pokémon Maneuver.

Looks like it's either two people looking at each other in a snowstorm, or a vase.

Yeah, it just seems like…he has his own particular ideas about how the MCU should be and tries to put as much of that in "his" movies as possible, but it just ends up complicating things because he's not in charge of the franchise in general.

Trust me, this ain't the "majority" opinion around here (or it's an extremely silent majority).

Yeah, but…why should I have to stop having or expressing my opinion just because people think they should get to be dicks about it? And why am I not allowed to say "dude, it's not cool to shit all over someone for saying a blandly positive statement about something you don't like instead of just making your own

I thought I did, but now I'm not sure.

I…might also be one of those people.

Maybe they should try both approaches — start out with all women, pick up the guy later.

I can only imagine what your notifications on this comment were like. Did everyone…not notice that this had already been brought up?

No idea, I don't actually play Mass Effect. But I hope so, because that's hilarious.

"A show with a woman in the lead role", apparently.

You want to put me up with Bill Nye and Rachel Bloom and you think you're insulting me?

It's more that they think they're like, Tyler Durden or some shit. That they're the only ones who know what things are "really" like, and that things are stupidly cynical and terrible (and that there's no point improving them). Drives me up the wall.

That was after I stopped watching regularly, but sounds amazing.

It's Complete Asshole for "I'm a hate-filled prick and I assume that everyone else is as shitty as I am and that any display of empathy or decency is just someone trying to make themselves look good and not because they genuinely feel positive emotions towards other people".

Yeah, I kind of forgot "Melody" might have also implied the baby version (and possibly some other regeneration I'm forgetting about), who was white.
