to be the mark of a good or bad horror film is the intelligence of the humans actions. a bunch of idiots getting cut down isn’t nearly as thrilling or terrifying as people making mostly correct decisions and dying anyway.

i wish i shared your excitement for this one, but its all been downhill since the second film and i think a big part of that has been the reduction in threat level..... of the humans.

im going to back you up on this one, Aliens escalated the threat in a way none of the other films, regardless of scope, have managed well. and its in the human characters, because everyone in every other movie has been a bunch of fucking idiots.

at this point you have to actively dislike the Bungie games to enjoy the show, or suffer from a split personality. the show is shit, not for its refusal to bring in game cannon, but for its complete mishandling of the characters, concepts, and basic themes from the games.
