Your OP contained no such nuance; you walked your initial venom back to a fairly significant degree in later replies (only to piss all over a few other commenters, rather undoing your attempt to appear halfway reasonable), but the fact remains that your initial foray into the discussion was needlessly insulting,

“On serious note, games dont owe you shit. If a dev feels that a game isnt the experience he wanted people to have and he tones down the difficulty to fix that, thats fine. But these devs bending their wills to people who demand experiences cater to them, come off as weak willed and not in charge of their creation.”

Do you carry that edge with you everywhere you go? Do you have a license for it?

Because damn, son, you sharp.

That was a lot angrier than it needed to be.

Determined not to buy anything - immediately buys Hollow Knight.

Take your star and get the hell out.

Great, now the Gamestop employees will be aggressively trying to sell me used credit cards.

You mean that awesome table tennis game that I’ve been wanting a sequel for?

I’m glad you asked. Actually, while we’re talking, there’s a new settlement that could really need your help

I’ll be playing a game called “yard work.” It fucking sucks. Way too much grinding.

I will be playing For Honor because I’m a masochist who likes being in abusive relationships with broken video games. Also, fucking patch the god damn PK on console already Ubisoft!

it makes the game exciting

Journalism in 2017: “I saw a thing on reddit.”

I like when people say things like “as an adult with a job.” What does that mean exactly? What are you implying?

I have a full-time and a part-time job. Sometimes the part-time job grows into full-time work for a week or two at a time. I do a myriad of other things, as well. Yet I still find time to play games,

Who hurt you?

There is no “rethinking” the used games business model for GameStop any more than there is “rethinking” eating and breathing for you. Without used games and preorders they die. Period. Now, whether or not Gamestops death would be a good thing is certainly a valid discussion to have.

Then they would have to pay their employees something close to a living wage, treat them like human beings, and rethink their “used games” preorder business model entirely.

And where’s the money in that?

Instead of an internal memo, why doesn’t Gamestop just remove the policy (Circle of Life) that inspires this bad behavior from it’s franchisees? They already have enough shady company policies in terms of employment, as anybody who has worked there may already know.

Lol. What? Steam: It’s pretty fucking simple.
