There is no “rethinking” the used games business model for GameStop any more than there is “rethinking” eating and breathing for you. Without used games and preorders they die. Period. Now, whether or not Gamestops death would be a good thing is certainly a valid discussion to have.

Then they would have to pay their employees something close to a living wage, treat them like human beings, and rethink their “used games” preorder business model entirely.

And where’s the money in that?

Instead of an internal memo, why doesn’t Gamestop just remove the policy (Circle of Life) that inspires this bad behavior from it’s franchisees? They already have enough shady company policies in terms of employment, as anybody who has worked there may already know.
