Agreed. It always fascinates me that a nation that is so into cars is spoiled with slushboxes. If only they knew the fun of it... No offence, bu i don't get how drivers are given licenses without a manual. It is mandatory here to drive a manual to get a driver's license. Driving doesn't consist of spinning a wheel left and right and "trying to squeeze a lemon with your right foot". Sorry but "for me at least" driving an automatic is easier and…

I don't get why hybrids don't get some diesel love, at least in EU. A Ford with a TDCI, or VW with TDI or a Volt (Opel Ampera in EU) with CDTI. Those cars would instantly crush Prii.
