I don't get why hybrids don't get some diesel love, at least in EU. A Ford with a TDCI, or VW with TDI or a Volt (Opel Ampera in EU) with CDTI. Those cars would instantly crush Prii.

These have been built until 2001 in Turkey. In fact it was the best selling car of Turkey in 2000!
