I’ve found my people!  I thing Royal Tenenbaums is a perfect movie.  

My current favorite is actually Grand Budapest Hotel. Masterpiece or not, it just checks all the right boxes.

For me “The Life Aquatic” is his best, and speaking of the quirk working for you, I’ve seen this movie many times in small groups and there are several scenes where I start laughing but no one else ever does.

Me too (re The Royal Tenenbaums). I love Anderson’s films. I get that I’m supposed to be slightly abashed about it, but honestly it’s just a matter of “the quirk works for you, or it doesn’t.” It works for me.
