@BritBloke916: Yeah the motion tracker was a great idea, you could hear them coming but since you were really in a 3d world, they could come from below, behind, on top but the MT only represented it in a 2d plane. (which halo blatantly ripped off :P)

@Thut: ID could have done a great job if they instead of making doom 3, used that engine to make an Aliens vs Predator game. But then they wouldnt have made quake 4 and then they wouldnt have used thier megatexture tech to make ETQW :(

@Vixtro: If they stick to the "Aliens" storyline, if it were like LEFT 4 DEAD, where you played coop with 4 other people and swarms of aliens were coming upon you, unless your like some MASTERCHIEF version of the colonial marine, I think you wouldnt last very long.

@BritBloke916: Gearbox makes good games. So its not really SEGA (oh gawd no) developing it. You wont see Colonial Marines dressed up as knights and what not.

@BritBloke916: It's my fault. I should have said "survival horror fps". The only other fps i can think of is the FEAR series and well it just was never as scary as AvP.

If its anywhere as scary as the original ALIENS vs PREDATOR games were, this might be the new "survival horror" genre reboot which it so clearly needs.

@sirsri: Drop the o/c and see how the game runs. might help might not. But lots of games are sensitive to O/c. should be able to save ur current profile to bios and load defaults and change back if it doesnt help.
