News sites, do not get to pick and choose the news.

There is nothing irresponsible about reporting something which is all over, well actually, the NEWS.

To not report it, as a deliberate choice, not because it's not important, but because you don't think people should know it, is the beginnings of some seriously scary

That level of pure, unbridled hatred toward women is so fucking terrifying.

There used to be some laws in some states that penalized media for revealing a rape victim's name, but the Supreme Court has struck down all of them as unconstitutional. That said, most, if not all media outlets do not reveal victims names as a matter of course.

Oh, and I see that @rooshv got involved, who posted this nugget:

I think the reasoning behind reporting this is, as a progressive women's website, is to show what women are up against. These kinds of attacks are something we need to speak out about. Start a dialogue about how we prepare, strengthen, and protect ourselves from a society that seems to refuse to believe that victims

So they should ignore major news stories because it's "irresponsible"?

Why are people so willing to call her a liar?

This isn't Johnson's first rodeo. He's absolutely vile. He's been banned from Twitter for posting personal information, repeatedly.

The point is "Charles C. Johnson is a repulsive piece of shit"

I feel the same way. It's fascinating to me that Suz writes about her mother and sister distancing themselves, avoiding and not accepting her, but seems to attribute that solely to gender identity. Maybe they simply felt angry and betrayed because someone they loved was abusing them.

They do. MRAs complain bitterly about men being expected to be tough and emotionless and in the same breath refer to men who try to ally with feminism as betas and manginas.

In my experience, feminists are frequently very aware of the impact of toxic masculinity on men and are, in fact, the only people who actually actively advocate to free men from rigid gender constructs. If nothing else, most feminists recognize that true equality is impossible so long as affiliation with things

If the MRA's didn't have their heads up their own asses, THESE are the kinds of things they should be talking about.

Oh, I'm sorry, do I need to reiterate in small, easy to understand words here that RAPE = BAD and RAPISTS = BAD PEOPLE? Because that's what most of the comments I have been leaving here lately are all about. These tweeters are the same type of people who are going around calling Bill Cosby's victims all liars, so

A Google News search on Donny Ray Williams finds news articles in the Huffington Post, Roll Call, The Hill and several TV stations. Clearly, the liberal media is hiding this story!!!

But had the victims been impregnated by their rapist and didn't want to keep it, what are these conservatives' stance on their rights then? Funny how these fuckfaces only care about rape victims when they think they can use them to score some points against the other side.

And the cop who killed Eric Garner got off too. This is a good day to be a rapist or murderer.

I don't think anyone in Britain is surprised by how far the entertainment business will go to cover up or ignore allegations of sexual assault by powerful men. I don't know how many left-pondian Jezebelites were following the Jimmy Savile scandal but if you're not aware, google it and weep. It's horrific, and the

Tina Fey grew up in Upper Darby, PA. Her parents still live there. Upper Darby is a very short drive away from Temple University, where Bill Cosby was on the board until literally yesterday. Andrea Constand, the woman who filed the lawsuit he settled 10 or so years ago, worked at Temple. Makes sense to me that she

And he's also on some Youtube star power fumes that are extremely pathetic to witness.
