I loved Katherine by Anya Seton! And I agree 100% about the historical ones. I know it’s not strictly romance, but I’ve been a fan of Philippa Gregory’s books since I was in high school.

Such terrible covers. Such great books. Particularly the Psy/Changeling series. I likes my romance with fantasy and sci-fi, and she delivers. :)

No mention of multicultural romance novels or diversity in romance novels should be permitted in any article, ever, without mentioning Supreme Goddess Nalini Singh. I decree it. I wish there were ten more of her.
