That is frighteningly cheap for that model. Description says door and cargo floor are rusted out. I suspect something more sinister was lurking.

    Two words: Bangle Butt

Pardon the ignorance, but why does a unibody vehicle have more interior space than a body on frame vehicle?

As I’ve stolen before from a poster on this site: “I’m starting to wonder if this whole internet thing is worth it”.

That’s what I thought. It was accidental *wink, wink*

In my experience, this is the way to go for purchasing most cars.

    This is truly fantastic

Agreed, Blue Thunder gets forgotten about, but was far superior to Air Wolf.

Your spot is waiting for you at the Onion.

Thank you very much, I’m honored. Couldn’t have done it without Mr. AWD E30...he was a crapload of inspiration.

    High school, is that you?

...but how will you keep the car on the road without all that downforce?

Couldn’t have hit that nail any squarer.

Looks like it’s pooping out a Dodge Challenger, head first.

    Crap! Can I un-NP the RX-7?

I am questioning the quality of the whole car, to be fair. The car is garaged and has 39k miles on it, yet somehow I just noticed the seams/welds just inside the door appear to be starting to rust. I don’t even know how that’s possible.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention the stereo - you’re spot on. I didn’t mind that the interior quality was cheap but expected a better stereo, which also is seemingly out of an ‘86 Chevy.

Crap, is that still a problem. I have a ‘13 WRX with an interior that feels like it came out of a 1986 Chevy. I was hoping that was either because it was A - a WRX where the focus isn’t on the interior anyway (frankly I don’t care in this car-I didn’t buy it for luxury) or that B - Subaru interiors had gotten better

I’m pretty sure when the automobile was brand new, every fender bender was front page news, while articles of horses kicking people were nowhere to be found. Like with the first automobiles, the companies will eventually get this right, but while they do, intense media coverage of a flashy and controversial new thing

...because if 90% of the people in this community had a McLaren in the wide open Nevada desert we definitely would not be speeding. Seriously, with the shaming angle here?
