I think the point is, most of the people who buy an SUV would be probably better suited buying a minivan, but the 50 year old soccer mom is sold that her life will still involve some sort of adventure and so the ruggedness and off-road capabilities of the SUV is chosen, when in fact (as pointed out), none of them

    This guy’s all charged up

I hear four letter words in an article’s title make the article worth reading.

I like it, but something seems off in the proportions. The sides seem too high for the size of the greenhouse, making the ground clearance (particularly in the front) seem too low...or something like that. I can’t put my finger on it, but if you look at it next to a 1st gen Bronco, you’ll see what I mean.

Damn your sense of practicality!...and 100% truthiness.

Why must you continue to get our hopes, dreams (among other things) up? I can’t help but feel a case of blue balls on the way.

I know it’s difficult to tell, but it seems to me those tires are on the smaller side to be a serious off-roader and the more I look at the whole thing, it just looks like an angry Jeep Renegade. I’d be shocked if this thing had serious off-road chops.

Beat me to it. I was going to write: I saw a WRX driver who doesn’t vape, have a flat brimmed hat, is polite, and hasn’t modified his car...it’s me!

    I saw a polite F-150 driver.

Good color. I guess in the end this goes along with my overall fascination with the 30' land yachts of the 70s that inexplicably had two doors.

He could just mean it doesn’t have the capabilities/options he’s looking for. I very seriously shopped them and in the end just couldn’t get around how impractical it is (I’m speaking about the two door). I probably never needed to set foot in one to come to that conclusion if I was being honest with myself.

Normally I would agree with you but I’m still dumbfounded (and immensely sad) that in a R&T article about 6 months ago, the Jag SUV beat a D Type around a track.

So the assumption is that an adult would never want to occupy such a voluminous back seat?

Can someone remind me again, why on earth two doors makes sense in a vehicle like this?

I remember at the time thinking how ancient looking that thing was - and not in a good way.

    Answer: I have no clue

I’m tyred of these electric car stories.

So a bill forced the USPS to change its liability accounting?

Lots of stars for you. Lots.
