That’s fair, i wonder how much the used market cannibalizes potential sales of new aftermarket seats. I’ve eyed evo X recaros for a number of projects since you can get them used for so much less than comparable new seats

Oh my lord, that is the most cringetastic when you think of the sorts of injuries that will result in an accident.

I was about to comment that my Mini can’t be that heavy, but damn, it’s 2800 curb weight.

I’m old enough to have seen revered drivers, people like Senna and Schumacher, perform acts that would get you banned from the sport now. I agree this was whiny and petty, but it’s hardly unheard of from “championship caliber” drivers.

I believe most of the mechanical components are fairly common.  The main issue I’ve heard is getting body panels and such in the event of an accident.

We have our 2016 Mazda CX-5 because after our beloved Mazda5 was totaled and our SSaturn grenaded it’s transaxle we had no usable cars and Mazda had a really good lease deal. We still have it because when it came off lease my wife had just left her job and we got an OK car loan in 30 minutes.  While it's not ideal the

Kids, Costco runs, and a lust for wagons

My wife and I needed a replacement for my aging Stratus to be the reliable family car. My wife didn’t want to give up her Frontier (she has a thing for manual transmission pickups), so since I prefer four doors, I got the ‘family’ car. Why the quotes?  Because my wife gave me two simple restrictions: Must have 4

I have owned BOTH. They are NO more reliable than the Germans, and cost just as much and often more to fix. In exchange, the Germans ride, drive, and handle better, and are an all-around better place to be.

the magnum was the best looking wagon,i’ve got 1 that will be 20 years old in 5 months and people still double take on it (red),67000 miles. the only thing that went wrong was the air and i whacked off just the muffler at 1200 miles,i just like it.   88 yr old

No Taurus/Sable wagons, either. While it’s not show quality, I still daily my ‘02 Sable wagon. It’s done yeoman service for me for 20 years now.

There were 3. They weren’t that good though. One was a stock R/T that had to leave because it was leaking some fluid. The other two were SRT-8s that had a lil too much going on.

this is no longer a movie it’s a documentary!

Thanks for not disappointing

1994 all over again

Feeling funny, are ya wildcat?

The whole ordeal sounds like something out of a “Speed” movie.

Yeah, a go-around would have been very bad. It almost looked like the plane landing was intentionally floating the landing to make sure the plane in front didn’t abort the takeoff. Likely a big brown pants moment for the landing pilots.

The NA Miata also used a copy of the Minilite wheel. Mazda should be commended for building something very close to the Elan is spirit while being reliable and durable
