Because auto makers spent so much on developing chrome that doesn’t get withered and crack in the elements. Ever noticed the black plastic trim on cars that fades and cracks after a year or two in the sun? If chrome reflections bother you so much, you should probably wear sunglasses. Why should automakers spend money…
