I was following Indycar religiously back then, it was just as great as F1 with different chassis/engines and different combinations of both.

That was a damn good race for COTA. Shame about Mags bringing out the double-yellow in S2 at the end, or Max might have made it... exciting. I’m a Ferrari guy, so it sucks to see them have such a bad showing; Vettel’s suspension failure could have been catastrophically dangerous so I’m glad it was just a retirement

Hellcat-powered 2CV (Duex Cheveux “Le Chat Démon”) confirmed for 2023.

I wagon I want I cannot have.

Well, it’s definitely a boat.

The answer is obviously 240.... As in Volvo 240 (race) Wagon.

This is possibly the best answer, checks all the boxes.

Just ran into my garage to fix this and to my bewilderment realized that I don't own a porsche.

Different theory: Lots of french cars manage to survive in europe, which isn’t warm and dry all the time, but this is because for the past 25 years or so the rust protection on most french cars has been very good actually. The main problem with these earlier models was rust (as with most vehicles from the 60s-70s),

We had a 404 when I was a kid. It would never start in the rain - they did all their testing in North Africa. You could also put the jack handle into a socket under the radiator and crank start it.... My mom tried getting someone to help her start the car that way in late 1960s America and they thought she was high.

He’s not asking how the lease works. He’s asking if, given how the lease works, and given that he fucked up, what options are open to him going forward. That’s not an unreasonable thing to ask someone who has helped other people deal with similar issues.

Torch, is that you?

I admire he and Williams making an effort to give him a shot, but when they saw how slow he was in testing, they should have quickly made a change. Throughout the season he has been over a second slower per lap than his rookie teammate, and Williams was foolish for sticking with him throughout the season.

There should be no problem to a tranny filter and oil change. The reason to avoid a flush is due to the possibility that some crud will get knocked loose and block a fluid passage.

I am of the opinion that doing a proper fluid/filter change wont hurt anything. I’ve had a lot of high-mileage vehicles and have never experienced a failure as a result of the procedure. Not only the Taurus I have now, but several other Ford products. My dad and I changed the fluid and filter in his 1999 F-250 with

John, we may need to talk. Are you on TCCA? I’m flushing everything but the trans since I don’t have any real history. The fluid looks great and it shifts as well as any Taurus ever did, but.. I’m sure you know many people say if you don’t know about the tranny, don’t mess with it.

Be sure to have the fluid *and filter* changed on your son’s Bull.

Once in a while I let her out. Here she is coloring next to the dyno while mama and her uncle fiddle with things between runs.

at some point maybe corporate America will realize selling $35-55k cars is difficult if there is no middle class
