So wild, b/c back in ‘79, C&D declared it (with the WS6 package), the best handling car of that year. I can’t find the article, but I remember reading that test as a kid and seeing the pics of the car in understeer, neutral and oversteer status and wanting one so badly.

Yup... came here to say this..

Back in the year 2000, when VIR just reopened and hosted one of the first SCCA races there in March, I also ran my first solo race in ITA.

I still wish I could have kept my dad’s 404

I’d love to see the Escort come back, honestly. My ‘88 GT didn’t suck (to me) and suspension upgrades did wonders for it. With today’s tech, and proper execution, it could do well.

Congratulations. Keep those seats!

Per the description, this clean-title car “needs nothing.”

What do you think about Plan C? Answer: Whatever..

1999 Camry

I don’t know why the pic of the back of the I7 reminded me of a Honda Prelude.. otherwise, all very impressive

An affordable station wagon...

Haven’t seen anyone suggest E30 M20 yet, so that’s for me. Also love the Nissan VQ

Wasn’t there once a GM concept that used full width lighting but it was fluorescent? I seem to remember reading about this in maybe Popular Mechanics when I was a lad (so long ago)... I DO remember it looked REALLY cool, whatever it was..

Nice. But your link here takes us back to 2019...

Indeed!!

That filing though... A “NASCAR worthy performance”??? WTF

I’d definitely give the Magnum another try. While I only had the 3.5, it was a good highway vehicle and carried all my gear and family with no issue.

Same for my 1990 E30... Clutch or brake tap disengages CC

At least they didn’t use the 9-speed trans from the Cherokee...jus’ sayin’

Kinda unrelated.. Where’s Mercedes Streeter? If she left I totally missed it..
