For me personally, it’s Nissan’s VQ series. I loved my 4thGen Maxima, and put 311, xxx miles on it with no issues. Can’t say the same for that car’s manual transmission though (weak 2nd gear synchros). Two transmissions and the same issue each time is why it got sold.
My uncle and aunt had much of that Kool-Aid. He had a ‘77 Supreme and she had a ‘78 or ‘79 Brougham. They never broke and actually, the ‘77 was “kinda” fun to drive in a sense and I preferred it to her car 100%. It actually felt “kinda” decent from a handling POV, but other than that..whew... Velour seating and quiet…
Every state has their fair share, but I have to give a hat tip to South Carolina, or maybe it’s just when those guys drive in OTHER states..lol. Florida also come highly recommended. Honorable mention to MY state, North Carolina..Left lane hugging, slow down and engage flashers when raining, driving at night with DRLs…
Wow.. It HAS been a while since I’ve seen one of those Challengers.. also Plymouth Sapporo - same car
Yup
I just use it for Time Trial training/riding around... and for those who wonder about riding around on a disc. that rear wheel has about 12k miles on it and still spins true like the day I bought it.
So THAT’S where Chevy got the inspiration for the SSR from... ;-)
I’m going to admit that I’m too lazy to look, but how much did it cost Mercedes when Bottas and Russel crashed?
This is what’s going to work for me. Besides, my Mazda 5 is old (2010 with 211, xxx miles and counting). I wasn’t looking to buy but decided to see what it might be worth. Carvana said they’d give me $200 for it..LOL
Of course it will!! *wink wink*
Tough crowd...Maybe he got an offer he couldn’t refuse on the first two? Kudos to him just the same
Wow! I remember reading the road test in C&D when this car came out. Back then, the tach/speedo and the moonroof were the high points back then... I don’t know if this is a good price or not, but I know I wouldn’t pay that even if I could.
...cleaning his Yugo 45's spark plugs....
“Maybe nobody was in there”.... Whut?
Agreed on the sense of history when at WG. I’ve been to WG twice for HPDE’s and both times was always aware of the past of this venue. It became even more apparent when I drove the Old Course. Just to THINK of what those drivers dealt with back then in terms of conditions, safety (???) and anything else was quite…
Is it Torch or Ballaban who has one of these? They might have something to say on this..
The “sealed” 9-speed transmission in the Jeep Cherokee (KL).
The roof has 1,300 fiber optic lights that depict a pulsar....
I was curious about the “Share Wallet” notification I get if I try to add othere poeple in my house..Not sure what that’s about, so I haven’t done it
