It’s a logical match when you go back to see that stopwatches were used to document lap times back in the good old days. That would transcend into smaller watches that allowed you to do the same thing, tell time AND could be worn on one’s wrist. Commercial enterprise ran with it. I would NEVER buy a watch for 6 Grand.
