Friends code don’t change anything. On Battlenet I have to add people based on their name + a code, and it’s annoying too, but it works. And I don’t know by heart my infos, I have to check them every time.

I’m dumb with PCs, it’s a fact. When I was 20 I could do a lot of things, it’s sad I forgot all these. I agree with all of this though. :)
I have 8 Macs at my 9 years old company. (2 brand new Macbooks we haven’t used much yet, 2 iMacs, 4 Mac Minis)
Macbooks were not that good last decade, I agree. Dell laptops running fine after 8 years is impressive. o.O
I’m really starting to think I’m unlucky with PCs. Or maybe people at the company just don’t care and end up destroying them too easily. I think your computer-noob person will have more trouble destroying a Mac than a PC.
Do you sometimes crash ? Or need to restart ? It’s these small things that make me say Macs are better for work. It’s the small details that ends up adding.
Macbooks I guess ? Mac Minis and iMacs will last even longer. :-)
Yeah, portable is probably where (good) PC hardware can outplay Mac. I don’t find much value in Macbooks TBH. I agree fully !
I didn’t say Windows is bad, and I shouldn’t. I agree Macs work, and that’s what I love about them. PCs are the best for games, cheaper but a tiny bit less stable.
It’s the small details. Restart your PC here, crash on start, crash when working and so. I agree for the most part W10 is very nice, but I still have these little problems.
No idea, I don’t use them. I used to, it worked, but I didn’t need it so I stopped.
I’d love to see this. (not sarcasm)
It’s true, still a good friend who’s a pro build my high end 2016 PC and it still crashes. I think a pro PC user won’t even notice, as you can fix anything in seconds, but a dumb Mac user like me will cry endlessly.
I cannot recommend Macbooks, I agree with that. Even though they last longer than PCs (try to use a 2008 PC, you’ll understand your pain) they are overpriced. Or maybe I don’t like laptops.
Perfect analogy. :-)
The OS is outdated, and ? To do office work it’s more than enough. Good for you if you always want to pay for the new thing, but that computer never cost me a dime after initial (and huge) buying cost.
2006 iMac: still runs perfectly. I think he went on repair the 1st year and service was perfect and free. Never ever any other issue. Still used by the company. Used 8 hours per day.
Well said. The grey version is literally visually unplayable.
In my company we used to change PCs every 3 years or so. iMac 2006 I gave to my colleague? Runs fine. Every Mac Mini Bought even 5 years ago? Run great.
You’re hopeless.
