Video games are video games. Halo tried to make us believe there was more to its story than just shooting aliens. I played Halo 1, 2, 3, ODST and Reach to completion, and a shitload of multiplayer.

In fact the back story is beyond terrible. Halo was meant as a trilogy, and during these 3 games you learn nothing about the story. You end it without knowing anything about the forerunners, or that huge monster you fight at the end of 3.

Which is a great thing when you consider Team Fortress is a 2007 game. It’s high time we got that 3rd game. :-)

I guess naming my daughter Zelda was pretty casual when I read all of that. :-)

I 1000% agree with your exaggeration. I prefer human designed levels. Still, procedural levels are an impressive feature.

Came here to read how bad the movie is, and how ruined by the trailers it is. I don’t really understand the “misoginist” part. And in fact you sold me the movie there. Yes, it’s twisted. Just try to imagine living the same thing as that guy ? Like really, for a few minutes, just not with the sarcastic filter ? Imagine…

TBH I didn’t play the Wii U too much this year either. Zelda TP of course but not a lot except multiplayer games.

The new memory card format was to try to slow counterfeit memory cards. Fake Memory Stick Pro Duo have flooded the market and are one of the PSP’s biggest fails (on Sony’s side).

There’s a difference in paying for games and paying for storage. Storage isn’t an end in itself, you still have to pay for the games after that. I buy boxed games because it supports the industry better (wholesalers + shops live through it) so I don’t have this problem.
