That’s a perfect description, indeed.

I stopped after gears 2 because it was too repetitive. But thank you for the information. It’s good to know they developed him more,I liked him.
From an outsider point of view (read: european), every single GoW character felt like a stereotypical, uninteresting pile of meat. Never found something wrong with Cole Train, but it was maybe lost during localization too.
My bad too, I don’t think my tone was appropriate on my first message now that I re -read it. It sounds... well, not like I want it to sound.
I’ll check it again as a whole like you suggested. I’m getting out of stock of new Manga to read so maybe I’ll like it now. Or maybe I should jump to the next arc. Will give One piece a new chance.
Not being sensitive but as a foreigner I admit I couldn’t get it. Nice one.
The Internet holds its breath expecting Jake Gyllenhaal’s attempt soon. Will probably be able to hold Apple’s full range + all Samsungs + a laptop or two.
I’m sure the quality is good for anyone who loves it. But a very long series with one writer cannot stay that good for 100 books.
Attack on Titan has been boring for more than that ! But it’s picking up again now, and I find it more interesting, yes. Any Urasawa series too (IDK if it’s monthly or quarterly or anything). Ajin is monthly and interesting too, although the art sucks. And it already starts to drag.
I stopped reading a while ago. I assume that the quality is the same, or, like with every single shonen ever, the quality lowers as the publication drags. I stopped at the government agents who fight like Keanu Reaves in the Matrix, and overpower everyone until Luffy realises “hey I just had to move faster, now I’m…
Amen to all of that. :-)
Hey, I ignored that, I thought D.Gray-man’s author was having the same “troubles” as Togashi. Thanks for the information. :-)
TBH when I said “way less popular”, I was refering to what you told on your 1st sentence. But I never thought HxH was still this popular (well, we had a few chapters this year so maybe it helped).
Dude, if we judge a series by how long it’s been published, then Detective Conan, Hajime no Ippo and the likes are the best mangas ever. Not that I read them, I don’t. One Piece is too much quantity over quality in my book.
Well, it’s true, and I agree fully. BUT! A part of me still thinks the 2 is the best, because it’s the one who really turned a crappy game (AC1) into a great franchise.
Her HAND has a butt on it. And you cannot unsee it.
Hunter X Hunter author Yoshihiro Togashi takes way more breaks, and the manga is way less popular. Same with D-Gray Man author.
Which he’ll never be working like that. Your brain and body needs some rest, else you only get worse.
I wish they’d try to increase the quality over the quantity. And this manga is not worth its author’s health, I’m afraid he’ll probably really die from doing it.
I’d buy this.
