Yes but porting is cheaper because all the game design is done. The game is done. They have to code it from scratch, true, but it’s Nintendo and we talk about a very small project (for them).

As much as I love this project, Nintendo has every right to protect its property. The smart move would be for them to buy the remake/hire the guy.
