If it’s a content you cannot get unless you paid for another products, it’s a paid content. Regarding to most laws I think you can consider it a paid content. Regarding to basic marketing laws, you’d be stupid to think even for a moment you don’t pay it when you buy Type 0.

That’s very true. It’s the fact that it’s only a small chunk of the game that makes it a demo, but I also have that beta vibe from it.

Yup, I was refering to the graphics. The game is very good it seems, so they don’t have to fix anything, but I can’t help but feel that they didn’t make much effort to go from PSP to PS4 and that’s bad. Square has always been among the best in terms of visuals, from the SNES to the PS4 hopefully.

I know! You’re right the game was awaited by lots of people. But if Square was confident about it they would not have used the FF15 demo to sell it.

You know what, it seems a lot of gaming companies listen to us these days. Nintendo with Zelda MM and some Smash Bros stuff, Square with the FF15 demo, Valve with Half Life 3. Ok not all of them but it’s getting better.

Very interesting, I’m pretty sure I had the FF8 demo but I never played BFM unfortunately. You could get it with the magazine. It’s not the same as an exclusive demo tied exclusively to a lazy port. About FF12 I don’t think Europe even had a demo. That’s worse, yup.

That doesn’t make it fine to me. The worst thing is I.don’t care that you have to pay it, but they should sell it directly too and be honest about it.

Oh I won’t debate over tied sales. In your example it’d be illegal in my country to tie the sale of the fries to the burger, you have to be able to buy them separately. But you could argue like 10 years on this.

You’re right, but you’re forgetting it’s not a free demo. It’s tied to a paid game making it a paid demo.

With my 2 best friends we used to one-night survival horror games. It’d go from 21h roughly to the following morning. We would swap the controller occasionally, always a bit relieved to watch vs play because you know, scary polygons.

I agree 100%. The game was too repetitive and a bit boring after the awesome start it had. And don’t even start me about combat...
