It's just one line but Biggie's "Time to get paid, blow up like the World Trade" in "Juicy" really puts a damper on a great song.

I believe the journey can be definitely changed by spoilers. For instance, while waiting in line to get into "Take Shelter", two guys exited the earlier showing, discussing the ending. To know what took place in the final scene definitely reshaped how I saw the rest of the film. I still loved the film but my view of

Kyle Secor, welcome to Seamus Dever aka Ryan's nightmare. The makeup people often make it seem like Ryan is wearing lipstick and now they've done the same with Secor. Or maybe there's a drag love story between the two that will come out next year.

Yeah, midway through the movie I thought the exact same thing. Mark Strong hiding behind a pinball machine was the peak of the ridiculousness. Although the hiding in the bathroom scene made me think the two shooters would be absolutely terrible at Battleship.

I thought Boyd might kill Ava and her talk to Ellen May was foreshadowing it (Ava had the same chances to leave Harlan, not start up with Boyd. etc.) Also, if she couldn't kill Ellen May, he might doubt that she's strong enough to carry the weight of a conviction. It also must bug him a little that she wouldn't kill

The Bridge is police drama. A body is found on the bridge, right at the border of Denmark and Sweden. A troubled cop from Denmark and a brilliant but socially aloof cop from Sweden team up to solve the murder, which turns out to be just the first act by a socially conscious yet brutal serial killer.

Can we focus on ruining another Danish show already? When's Bron/Broen (aka The Bridge) finally getting made over here?

Do many people outside of user commenters really hate watch new shows? I think this is kind of an internet phenomenon. I can see being disappointed with the final seasons of shows and expressing outrage but still watching to get closure but I don't know many people who actually act like the hate watch commenters and

I think being unrealistic a definite problem. It's why the show inevitably does more to reinforce the angry black man stereotype than it does break any ground with the long-standing hip hop discussion about the search for the gay rapper. Because, for many people, the gay rapper part will be lost as being as

The LA Complex's main problem was that whatever edgy moments it might have had were laid to waste by the fact that the rest of show was so laughably unrealistic. The show basically played like a cautionary tale about what not to expect when you move to LA.
LA Complex might be a great daytime TV show but compared to

Why would I need Hulu if I have cable? Hulu's only purpose would be as an "In case you forgot to set the DVR" backup.

Hopefully this will be the end of Apatow's own midlife critis/wannabe James L. Brooks phase. Judging from his films, I think the more out there the premise, the better the results are.

The key sentence in this to me was, "the series turned into the boilerplate for what passes as critically relevant television." Clearly, the episode is still king with most viewers. The top shows are still almost entirely episodic and more and more sites have episode recap discussions; message boards break down

Lookwell doesn't count because it never received an order; it was just a pilot that was passed on. These shows all were ordered, went into production, maybe were slated in the schedule, and then were dumped before air.
