You can buy laptop stands for 10-20$... it hardly seems worth the effort. They even come with fans, usb ports, etc..
evernote and moleskines are so overhyped on the web.
Used to love tab mix plus, but having switched to other alternatives i've realised how much it slowed down firefox, particuarly starting up. (Taboo and Tab kit (with the tabs on the side due to a widescreen monitor).
I mostly shop on the end caps. It saves time and money.

I was using a bodum press for a while, but while making the coffee is easy, cleaning the £$%@ sure isn't.

Google Notebook was always a good idea, that was terribly implemented in terms of UI, extensions, etc..
