Well that’s another strike for vidya movies as well as fantasy ones. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to convert these things into an enjoyable film. Granted it won’t be 1:1 to recreation of a popular game but are you’re seriously telling me someone can’t take the core concept and spin them into viable genre films?

The Japanese PSN has a demo playable for PS3. Kotaku has a guide to setup an account and it's pretty easy. Only catch is that it's in Japanese (obviously)

MGS never seemed that hard to follow except with 4. That game confused me utterly with its whole Patirot Games. The others were twisty but made sense if you thought about them

It'd be pretty hard to explain Sorrow's presence and Raven and Mantis powers as hallucinations when Snake's support team had full readouts of his health status and nano machines didn't exist in the 60s even in MGS time
