I think Ethan does love Vanessa and he is a dark creature. But yeah she is a magnet for dark things.

It's actually pretty in line with the novel. Although all the characters are changed around like Ethan got Harkers story of his far away love and Vanessa got the Mina part pretty much seduced but not turned. Just change Harker and Mina to a werewolf and a witch 😂

Season finale is the blessed dark. I think Dracula gets mauled too death in episode 8.

I did read Dracula recently and John Logan is basically doing the PD version of it now. Instead of Mina we have Vanessa and instead of Johnathan Harker we have Ethan Chandler/Talbot. So we know where this is going….

In S2 Vanessa took care of the witches mostly by herself and with Ethan. But this season she gets seduced by a measly Dracula 😒 But yep now Ethan has to save Vanessa.

In the Dracula novel Mina was in the same situation until Dracula was killed.

I agree Logan decided to make both Ethan and Vanessa try the dark side.

We know Vanessa will flip back once Dracula dies. But yeah they are flipping around a lot.
