My working theory while watching this was that Jill had concocted a make-believe case to get close to Peter. The case just seemed so bland and unimportant. I think that says something about just how badly constructed this episode was.
The writers have been watching too much of their lead-in show, clearly.
'Til Death was lucky enough to have the most forgiving production company in television: Sony Pictures Television.
The covers for "It's Blitz!" and "Show Your Bones" were quite pleasant. "Fever To Tell" was a bit strange but fitting for the record. "Mosquito" just went out of its way to be repulsive.
