I agree 100% that there is no way for The Boltons to have preserved their alliance with the Iron Throne once Suspected Regicider Sansa married into the fam, and the show seems to have felt the same way, what with Littlefinger's whole "let the two rebel armies [Stannis and Bolton] slug it out and then I'll swoop in

Also she's going to break the wheel or something, whatever that now means.

Remember how vexed Roose was that Sansa escaped because they needed her to get the support of the rest of the North? Can you believe it turned out almost everyone was already lined up with the Boltons, and if the Boltons had just, I don't know, had better self esteem or whatever, they would have been fine?

Yeah, if only she had known to shout "Fat Walda Sends Her Regards" at the key moment.

The Boltons never flat out Kingindanorfed themselves and even in this episode Ramsay apparently thought he was still allied with The Iron Throne, what with him calling himself rightful Warden of the North.

I was sort of hoping it would be revealed that Jon CAN'T die, but it was not to be.

I know there is a lot of back and forth about the speed of travel, but to me things feel so unstuck in time that for all I know they could have been within sight of the smoldering ruins of the Khals or right outside Meereen.

I hope Jon gives Tormund The Dreadfort.

That's So Ramsay, this fall on Disney after Dark.

On the other hand, he's still alive, so at least there's that.

Since The Greatjon is held captive at The Twins, I'd say their "loyalty" to the Boltons is strictly for show.

What do they have there?

I wasn't sure how Ramsay was going out, until he said he hadn't fed the dogs in seven days. That pretty much sealed it.

I guess you could say the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

Is Ghost even with them? I figured Mel was direwolfsitting, but he wasn't with her in the tent. Maybe they left him at The Wall to keep Edd cheery.

Yup, the pyromancers discovered some of it and used it in the Battle of the Blackwater, but it wasn't all discovered. Tyrion said in the episode that Jaime told him about it, but TBH I don't remember when that happened. I kind of thought Brienne was the first person he'd told about it, but maybe the significance of

Pics of his Baelish.

Hard to say since he's in a completely different situation in the books. Still, Shaggydog story and all.

If it doesn't go down next episode, it's on the docket for when Dany and Co roll in. Early next season?

I'm pretty impressed that they were able to keep up with Drogon en route to Meereen.
