That’s just nuts to think about.  Love those games and still revisit from time to time and it baffles me that we’ve not gotten a game with better Jedi combat.  For me, Jedi Outcast will always be the pinnacle.

Live in Texas and never even heard of P Terry! (Admittedly don’t live in Austin though) The fries look like my kind of fries, they look similar to my all-time fav fry (Five Guys) so I would definitely hit them up for fries alone. Price for the burger isn’t bad. I had no idea Whataburger was so expensive these days...I

I mean...for my super bowl party for tomorrow, I’m making lasagna and just picked up a couple bottles of wine to go with, so I feel like somehow I’m on trend??  (First time for everything)

I like cooking, but I gotta say.  Wings is one of those things I enjoy when I’m eating out and don’t have to prep them myself.  Noted not to buy the frozen ones though!!

I kinda want to try this, even though I know I won’t enjoy it as much as their spicy chicken sandwich.  Cauliflower in sandwiches is never great, but I’m now curious as to how this tastes dipped in cfa sauce...

Yeah, fried cauliflower is outstanding and I love dipping it in ranch/hot sauce and eating it.  Every time it’s in a sandwich I’m disappointed...

I got to Prince at #2 and was very confused

I’m not someone who buys plant-based meat, but was just at the store 30 minutes ago so decided to see if I could find it! In my store (HEB), the plant-based meat products (Impossible, Beyond, etc) were in the meat “area”, but not right next to their counterparts.

I’m sure it’s partly just nostalgia talking...but I gotta say, Jedi Knight is one of my all-time favourite SW games and it is the game that more than any other felt truly like Star Wars and made me feel truly like a Jedi. What a game. I need to break it out and replay - it’s one I have to revisit every few years or so.

Yeah, that’s what I was coming here to say. Origins was really the only one of the series that really played like an isometric RPG. I loved Origins and still replay it, hah. DA2 veered away from that to become more real-time combat, at least in terms of how it played. Inquisitions was more of the same (never did

I haven’t had either in a while, but current Wendy’s fries look like they’re the ones I would enjoy more. My question is...which is the most potato-tasting? That’s my metric, though I suppose I’m asking the wrong question if the subject is a fast-food fry.

I don’t really understand this article. I guess it’s supposed to be a comical article? But answering rudeness with rudeness is...not the answer? If your answer to rude/insufferable/jerk customers is to want to increase their rage and/or discomfort...that’s not helping anything.

I very much prefer checking out with a cashier.  I’m the weirdo that goes grocery shopping 5-6 times a week (just a basket, for items and fresh veg needed that day!) and I find the shopping experience meditative and fun.  And I enjoy seeing other people shopping and yes, I enjoy the chatting with person at check-out

If they don’t know 4011, they truly shouldn’t be working check-out haha.

Recently moved to a house with a gas range. First time I’ve ever cooked with gas in my life. And yes, I fell in love. I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to go back to electric after this...and I certainly hope I never have to.

While I’m all for reasonable and sensible regulations, an outright ban on gas-stoves seems a bit

Great list. I’m particularly a fan of imperial stouts. Belgian tripels are good (or quads!) and I also have really enjoyed discovering barleywines this past year. Also had a wee heavy for the first time - quite tasty as well!!

I was about to complain about a few of the inclusions on this list...but then I got down to #9 and realised you included “Shop Around the Corner”. All is forgiven. That’s one of my favourite movies of all time, and truly a classic holiday movie.

Can confirm Florida is definitely on the cheaper end.  Got our turkey for 49 cents/lb, which we definitely are ok with.

I’m all for buying certain things that would take me far more effort and time to make. But...there are some times where the time and effort is worth it. My homemade stuffing/dressing is divine and I crave it throughout the year and I definitely don’t begrudge the hour or two it takes to make it.

Legitimate question.  I haven’t had Papa John’s in ages (if I’m in a trashy pizza mood, I do Pizza Hut haha), but I remember back when I was in high school, all my friends loved Papa John’s - it was considered the “good pizza”.  I didn’t enjoy it as much as they did, but most people agreed that it was quality pizza
