Seeking needless confrontation is stupid in any circumstance.

Its a justice thing. Taking up two spaces proclaims oneself as more important than everyone else.
Parking in the back of a lot means you put forth the effort to have your car stay nice, double parking passes that effort off to other people, just like driving in the left lane because your too lazy to actually pay

It's called society. What if everyone took two spaces? Jeez

When I see someone who habitually takes up two spaces, I think to myself, “Self? This looks like a self-centered douchewaffle. Such a man could be fun to take down a notch.”

Now playing

Fair point. Assume you’d respond similarly if the owner of the lot towed you just because he liked the spot you were in. It’s his lot. You don’t have the right to a space. Or you could be a normal human and accept the words of Costanza

Unless you own the parking lot, it is by definition not your problem. You don’t “have a right” to a space more than anyone else. Seeking needless confrontation is stupid in any circumstance.

But you have a right to TWO spaces? You must be new to this whole “arguing your point” thing.

Smashing someone’s mirror with a freaking baseball bat is pretty much the dictionary definition of ‘seeking needless confrontation’.

Not all of us scrawny short people have Napoleon complexes you know. Some of us are quite happy hobbits.

You’re correct. There is no law which requires you to park between the lines. There are, however, social norms that we all need to recognize. For instance, it isn’t against the law to stand 2 inches from a stranger and breath heavily, but that doesn’t mean it’s acceptable, does it?

I, too, am curious. But I am also fully judging.

Unless you own the parking lot, it is by definition not your problem. You don’t “have a right” to a space more than anyone else. Seeking needless confrontation is stupid in any circumstance.

It’s a shared space, so someone taking up two spaces is selfish, because that means there is one less person that could park in the area.

“Unless you own the parking lot, it is by definition not your problem. You don’t “have a right” to a space more than anyone else. Seeking needless confrontation is stupid in any circumstance.”

The kind of people who are sick of watching this world of self serving numb fuck dipshits act like this day in and day out, and not just on the roads and parking lots or with cars, and most of the time get away with it.

It’s the message that it sends. You’re essentially saying “My car is better than yours and I’m more important” to every other person.

You’re exactly right. Just because someone took two spaces doesn’t mean you should break his mirror like a fucking baby. Jesus fucking Christ, that truck is pretty big and it’s just easier to use two spaces, and I mean—

I personally wish businesses would tow vehicles that are taking 2 spots in their lots. Ugh I just wish.

I’ll be honest, I’m curious to see how many people share this opinion. Genuinely curious, no judgement.
