Yeah I’m old enough to remember the days of six exhibition games.

But it wasn’t practice It was a meaningless exhibition game. Non-contact and ACL go together often.

Why doesn’t the NFLPA do more to limit the number of exhibitions? There are way too many serious injuries which look worse when compared to the inherent lack of worth the games possess. If the NFL wants the money to keep flowing for these exhibitions, turn them into real games that count. More fans in attendance, more

Didn't know the Dez Bryant refs called whiffle ball too

How about Ronda Rousey for the role?

RIP Rowdy Roddy

I actually caught this as it aired while channel surfing the ESPNs. I loved that the announcers were commenting on the fact that they weren’t the no fun league but the all fun league. Goodell probably forced ESPN to shave their heads in the public square today for it but I loved it.

That was very well done Jazz Hands

too soon

It’s wrong to include Cowherd here with Olbermann and Simmons. Cowherd is an idiot who makes the place better by leaving. Cowherd was worst decision ever for ESPN Radio. No way Mr. Tony should have been replaced by that condescending, repetitive faux intellectual. Olbermann and Simmons each had strengths and

Was watching the fight live and initially thought the ref had stopped the fight to award TKO to Vargas. Was thinking how terrible that was as it was a single great punch and Bradley had gathered himself more quickly than a human should be able to when the announcers called what happened. It was an enjoyable fight.

Baseball would benefit by the umps mixing it up randomly on days when games are dragging.

You say nudie magazine like it’s a bad thing.

it looked odd to me on first viewing at live speed on a shot from center field

That needs to be a call for the second base ump to make, not the home plate ump. Home plate ump cant see the batter’s movement that well while watching the pitch

Not only zero effort to avoid but serious effort to hit the pitch with his elbow. Wonder if he didn’t have that pad on if he would have been so willing to move into the pitch.

Seem to recall a similar situation in the 70s with the Reds I believe. The commissioner stepped in and de-selected some of the players clearly not worthy who were elected. It would be a pr nightmare now though so I’m all for it. Shame Bud’s not there to get the egg of his face

You mean he’s just like Mariotti without the domestic violence then?

Cowherd is still there so Stephen A. can’t possibly be the worst.
